Mission Statement. The mission of the Žiga Zois Foundation is the promotion of the quality and excellence in education, health, and quality of life. In the furthering of these goals, the Foundation will conduct and endorse projects, activities and cooperative efforts dedicated to the improvement of education, schooling, health care and to the advancement of the physical, social and mental well-being of the children and adults.

The important part of our mission is to support everyone who is concerned for the positive progress of education, schooling and health care with donations, sponsoring, forums, panels, lectures and other programs and projects.

The purposes of the Foundation are based on the firm belief, that

• the quality of education, schooling, and the care for emotional, intellectual, spiritual, and physical well-being are fundamental for successful, meaningful and happy life;
• everyone should rightfully participate in education, schooling, health care and quality of life;
• the way to good education, schooling, health care, and individual well-being is deeply associated with the satisfaction and fulfillment of the people working in educational, academic and health caring institutions;
• it is possible to improve the quality of education, schooling, health care and quality of life by well-organized effective and innovative activities and projects;
• the chances for the essential improvement of human life exist always and everywhere.
